Dear Olga: Claus
Dearest Olga,
I am so sorry we missed you on Tuesday night. I hope you were able to rummage and find something suitable to eat. That was an unfortunate story about your watch. Maybe Jules and I will buy you one for Christmas? Until then you should learn to tell time by the sun and the stars. Good luck. Your family sounds nice. Speaking of letters, someone left a slab of pork on our porch last night. A piece of paper was attached that read, "read the Olga". It's from a Mr. Claus, and I think he meant for us to read the letter to you in person. I'm going to spare us the face to face contact and write it here... on your blog... for you to read.

Where Friends?
olga come to visit. no friends. is tuesday, dah? olga no have watch. no is able to tell time. i tell you why.
in old country, olga have many watch. olga sell watch to nice american. american tell olga he will take her on plane to america. olga wait for american to take her on plane. no come. olga hear strange noise behind her. feel something hit hard on head.
olga wake up in strange place...how you say?...A-lask-a? dah. olga find note in pocket that say:

enjoy america. don't come back to russia.

Dear Olga
It's your American friends here! We have been neglecting you. I hope you are doing alright in the shed, if that is where you're still living. How's the English coming along? Remember not to stand on the corners after 11. We love you! (like a very distant cousin). That means a very beautiful Grandmother in English. I have a feeling Russia misses you more than we love you. Maybe you should go back soon.
Come visit anytime. How is next Tuesday at 3? We will definitely be here... somewhere... *cough*.
